Welcome

WELCOME from Mrs. Ward, HHS Principal:

Welcome!  Thank you for visiting the Hillsboro High School web site.  Hillsboro has a long history of academic excellence and we are extremely proud of our students’ accomplishments.

We believe in preparing our students for life after high school whether that is in college, trade school or the work force.  We offer numerous courses and programs that equip our students to be competitive in their chosen area.

We are proud to offer  AP courses in English, Chemistry and Calculus.  We have also partnered with Lincoln Land Community College to offer dual credit classes in Anatomy, Microbiology, English, Certified Nursing Assistant and Building Trades.

We offer a wide variety of vocational courses as well.  Agriculture, business, and family and consumer science classes are offered on campus.  Juniors and seniors may elect to go to the Okaw Vocational Center in Vandalia for a wider variety of courses.

In addition to our academics, Hillsboro offers a wide selection of extra-curricular activities.  There is truly something for everyone.

Please take a minute or two and browse our web site to learn more about HHS.  If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.  We will be more than happy to speak with you about Hillsboro High School.
